Who We Are
As a Beaver Scout, you will have an exciting time and make lots of new friends. You will join other boys and girls aged between six and eight years old in a group which is called a Colony. You may even be as young as 5 years and 9 months. When you are 8 years old you will move up to the Cub Scout Pack.
You will wear a smart, colourful uniform which includes a turquoise sweatshirt, your Scout Group’s own Scarf and long, dark blue activity trousers.
Children join a Beaver Scout Colony for many reasons. It might be they have heard great things from their friends about all the things our Colony gets up to every week. Perhaps parents or carers are keen for them to join what ever the reason why not give is a go.
What We Offer
Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends
