Cubs

Who We Are

We are Cubs – young people aged 8 to 10½ who love having fun, learning new things, and going on adventures together. We explore the outdoors, try exciting activities, and make the most of what’s around us, whether that’s our local park or our wider community. We learn by doing, building practical skills, confidence, and character along the way. Being a Cub means being curious about the world and brave enough to try something new. We work as a team, make strong friendships, and help others whenever we can. Together in our Cub Packs, we challenge ourselves, make a difference, and have loads of fun while we do it.

What We Offer

Cubs do a wide range of activities, including an annual camp.  Activities range from arts and crafts to climbing and abseiling to kayaking and sailing – we like to give the cubs an experience of the adventure that scouting has to offer! We take part in competitions that Enfield Cub District put on between the other Cub Packs including a Swimming Gala and Cooking Competition.

Our programme is carefully planned according to the “Balanced Programme” philosophy that scouting promotes in order to provide a wide range of activities and experiences.
