Common questions and answers

Where do we meet?

We have our own scout hut that we meet at for the weekly sessions. The address is Wilkinson Hall, Tile Kiln Lane, London, N13 6BY.

When do we meet?

Our usual meeting time is 6pm on Tuesdays and the sessions finish around 7.30pm

How much does it cost?

There are no costs to join. Each session simply has a small fee to help cover activities and resources.

Can my child join?

Yes! We are currently welcoming new members, and any child aged 4 to 14 can join. We are inclusive of all faiths and work hard to ensure that every child feels welcome and supported.

Can I also contribute as a helper?

Yes!  You can support sessions, help with activities or trips, or take on a more regular role if you’d like. Training and support are provided, and you can usually volunteer as much or as little time as you’re able. It’s a great way to give back, learn new skills, and make a real difference for young people.

What are the benefits?

We help young people build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills while having fun. Through games, outdoor adventures, and hands-on activities, children learn practical life skills, resilience, and problem-solving. It also encourages friendship, community involvement, and a sense of responsibility, helping them grow into well-rounded, confident individuals.
